Swiss Arbitration Centre to host webinar on Practice Note for Swiss Rules of International Arbitration

The Swiss Arbitration Centre recently announced the launch of its Practice Note (‘practice note’ with small letters is used in the first section above: to be harmonised) on the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration. To provide practical insights on the subject, the Centre is organizing a webinar that will take place on 11 May 2023.

The webinar will cover key phases of the arbitration process, as outlined in the Practice Note, and will provide hands-on examples presented by current and former members of the Arbitration Court. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their practical knowledge of the Swiss Rules, as well as ask questions to the experienced panel of speakers.

The panel includes Christopher Boog, Vice President of the Court and partner at Schellenberg Wittmer; Andrea Meier, Vice President of the Swiss Arbitration Association and partner at Walder Wyss; Philipp Habegger, Former President of the Court and partner at Habegger Arbitration; Xavier Favre-Bulle, President of the Court and partner at Lenz & Staehelin; and Shanaize Yahiaoui, Secretariat Representative to the Court and Legal Counsel.

The webinar is intended to be an informative and engaging event for practitioners, and anyone interested in the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced arbitration professionals in the field.
