LALIVE’s Insightful Session on Energy, Construction, and Tax Disputes

On 31 January, LALIVE will host the first Arbitration Focused Session of the Swiss Arbitration Summit. Set against the outlook of 2024’s geopolitical and economic instability, this Session will cover some key themes predicted to be significant for users of international arbitration in 2024, with a particular focus on energy, construction, and tax-related investment disputes. Gonzalo Jaspe (General Counsel, VINCI Construction Grands Projets) will provide this perspective for the construction and infrastructure sectors. David Bonifacio (TotalEnergies) will tackle energy disputes in 2024. Robert Danon (University of Lausanne) will discuss the continuing rise of tax-related investment disputes and his predictions for 2024. The Session will be moderated by Matthias SchererNoradèle Radjai and Nick Lawn (Partners, LALIVE; Zurich, Geneva and London).
