Swiss Arbitration is a unique global platform for international dispute resolution with local roots and international outreach. Your role will be attached to:
- The Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA): An association with approximately 1’000 members in Switzerland and abroad.
- The Swiss Arbitration Centre: An independent institution providing high-quality arbitration and mediation services worldwide.
We are looking for a motivated part-time Data & IT Operations Specialist for our centrally located offices in Geneva or Zurich to enhance our internal data flows and management systems. This role reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with other team members, providers and task forces.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and Enhance Data Management: Maintain and enhance all data management aspects and operational tasks of ASA membership, advancing them to the next level of efficiency and digitalisation.
- Manage CRM Systems: Oversee daily operations in CRM systems, analyse and improve day-to-day operations and their technical requirements, including user data entry, and system customisation.
- Implement Electronic Case Management System: Implement and customise the new electronic case management system for the day-to-day administration of arbitration and mediation cases, in coordination with the software provider.
- Create Reports and Metrics: Generate statistics and performance metrics through data analysis to support reporting and business decisions.
- Drive IT Projects: Lead IT projects in collaboration with service providers to ensure the smooth functioning of IT tools (ASA Profiles, Arbitration Toolbox, GlueUp, Cvent, etc.).
- End-User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, promoting user adoption of IT tools.
- IT Support Contact: Serve as the primary contact for IT support and coordinate tickets with the IT providers.
- Implement Process Improvements: Drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor in data analytics or equivalent studies.
- 3-5 years of experience in data management and/or IT systems operations, preferably with some international experience. Prior experience in customer service, member services, or client services is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate valuable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration.
- Full working proficiency, both oral and written, in English; good command of French or German is a plus.
- Comfortable with CRM tools; proficiency in MS365.
- Attention to detail in all matters with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Self-starter: able to take initiative, stay on task in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, prioritise, be flexible, and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented approach to work.
- Legally entitled to work in Switzerland or eligible for a work permit.
- Available as of July 2025.
