1. Administered Mediations according to the Swiss Rules

Any party wishing to initiate mediation shall submit a Request for Mediation (in accordance with Article 2 of the Swiss Rules) to the Swiss Arbitration Centre at one of the addresses listed below.

To ensure the expeditious handling of the file, parties are invited to submit the Request for Mediation by e-mail and to pay without delay the non-refundable Registration Fee.

All payments must be made in Swiss Francs (CHF) and received net of any bank charges. V.A.T. at the standard rate of 8.1% applies if the parties are domiciled or provide its business activities in Switzerland.

When making payments within Europe, please always use the IBAN and BIC to avoid additional third-party charges and to ensure the amount is credited to the beneficiary more quickly and securely. We also recommend using IBAN for all Swiss payment transactions.

Any payment, such as the payment of a Registration Fee, a Provisional Deposit, or a deposit, must be made directly from an account held in the name of a party to the case (including in the case of a group of companies). The Secretariat may reject any payment not directly received from the parties to the case without providing reasons for that determination.
