Vierländer Konferenz
The Vierländer Konferenz 2025 is a premier cross-border arbitration event uniting experts from the Liechtenstein Arbitration Society (LIS, Liechtenstein), Austrian Arbitration Association (Arb | Aut, Austria), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC, Austria), Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA, Switzerland), and German Institution of Arbitration (DIS, Germany). Hosted by the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), it will take place from 20 – 21 November 2025 in Munich, Germany.
Following an opening lecture, the four-country conference will discuss three topics in depth from the perspective of the four countries. The opening lecture will be given by Prof. Dr. Wolfram Buchwitz on the recognition and enforcement of overturned arbitral awards, followed by panel discussions with representatives from the four countries on costs in arbitration proceedings, the participation of third parties in arbitration proceedings, and arbitration proceedings in inheritance, trust, and foundation law.
The event will be held in German.
