Organised by the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) in cooperation with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), will bring together the Swiss and UAE legal and business communities for an afternoon of discussion dedicated to contractual disruptions and dispute resolution.

Taking place on 15 October 2026 at White & Case’s offices in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), ahead of the ASA Arbitration Retreat 2026, the event aims to create a platform for dialogue between practitioners, in-house counsel and representatives of arbitral institutions from both jurisdictions.

The programme will open with welcome remarks by Andrea Meier (ASA President & Walder Wyss), Robert Stephen (DIAC) and Korinna von Trotha (ASA), followed by a panel discussion on “Legal and Strategic Perspectives on Performance Disruption.”

Moderated by Sanela Ninkovic-Jakob (Walder Wyss), the panel will feature Noradèle Radjai (LALIVE), Karim J. Nassif (Independent Arbitrator) and Khadija El Leithy (White & Case), who will explore the legal and strategic considerations that arise when contractual performance is affected by market developments, geopolitical events and other disruptive circumstances.

The event will conclude with networking drinks at The Guild, offering participants an opportunity to connect with colleagues across the Swiss and UAE arbitration communities.
