15 Oct, 2026

Organised by the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) in cooperation with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), this event will bring together the Swiss and UAE legal and business communities for an afternoon of discussion dedicated to contractual disruptions and dispute resolution.

Taking place on 15 October 2026 from 15:30 – 17:45 (GMT +4) at White & Case’s offices in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), ahead of the ASA Arbitration Retreat 2026, the event creates a platform for dialogue between practitioners and in-house counsel from both jurisdictions.

The programme will open with welcome remarks by Andrea Meier (ASA President & Walder Wyss), Robert Stephen (Registrar of DIAC) and Korinna von Trotha (Executive Director of ASA), followed by a panel discussion on “Legal and Strategic Perspectives on Performance Disruption.”

Moderated by Sanela Ninkovic-Jakob (Walder Wyss), the panel will feature Noradèle Radjai (LALIVE), Karim J. Nassif (Nassif Arbitration) and Khadija El-Leithy (White & Case), who will explore the legal and strategic considerations that arise when contractual performance is affected by market developments, geopolitical events and other disruptive circumstances.

The event will conclude with a networking opportunity at The Guild, offering participants the chance to connect with colleagues across the Swiss and UAE arbitration communities.
