The ASA Local Group Geneva is kicking off its 2026 program with an exciting session on “L’arbitrage et l’espace : prenons de la hauteur!”. Co-chairs Alexandra Johnson & Jean Marguerat invite members on Thursday, 23 April 2026, from 17:30 to 20:00 at the CCIG – Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Salle du Conseil, 2e étage, 4 Boulevard du Théâtre for an engaging discussion on the emerging field of space arbitration.

The session will be led by:

  • Prof. Lucien Rapp (Consultant Senior, Watson Farley & Williams, Paris)
  • Benjamin Guyot (Directeur Général, Spacetalk, Lausanne)

Space is becoming an increasingly contested domain — from satellite launches and space tourism to the use of celestial bodies, with a proliferation of spacecraft raising questions of coexistence and responsibility. Our speakers, specialists in this field, will explore the challenges, present developments, and future opportunities for arbitration in space disputes.

The presentations will be followed by an open discussion, where members can share experiences and pose questions, and the session will conclude with a networking apéritif at the CCIG.
