The IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence – ‘Best Practice Tools’ revised

Whilst most of the arbitration practitioners are familiar with the application of the IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence from their daily practice, little is known about the discussions held and the internal revision process conducted by the IBA Review Committee. Indeed, the outcome of the latest revision of the IBA Rules of late 2020 fell right into the pandemic and with that off our radar.
ASA below 40 invites you to join a discussion led by some of the IBA Rules Review Committee members and former secretary who will recall the latest amendments of the IBA Rules and provide us with some insights into the mechanisms and discussions of the Review Committee.

As if that were not reason enough to join, we are particularly thrilled to inform you that the authors of the Commentary on the IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence, i.e. Tobias Zuberbühler, Dieter Hofmann, Christian Oetiker and Thomas Rohner, have kindly offered to provide a free copy of the commentary’s new, second edition to each participant joining the ASA below 40 morning session on 16 September 2022.
