The 18th IFCAI Biennial Conference will take place in Rome on 10 June 2026, on the eve of Italian Arbitration Day. Bringing together leading voices from the institutional arbitration community, the event will focus on how arbitration institutions can do better for arbitration and what practical improvements can strengthen the field.

The programme:

  • Opening remarks by Maria Beatrice Deli, Secretary General of AIA,
  • A presentation on IFCAI’s Statistical Transparency and Reporting Standards (STARS) by Niamh Leinwather, Secretary General of VIAC and Secretary Treasurer of IFCAI.
  • A keynote address by Andrea Carlevaris, President of AIA
  • A panel discussion moderated by Ismail Selim, President of IFCAI, featuring Ana Stanic, Alina Leoveanu and Michael Mcilwrath.

Hosted at Centro Congressi Roma Eventi – Fontana di Trevi, this event will conclude with a light aperitif, offering a relaxed setting to connect with peers and ease into Italian Arbitration Day together.
