Kyiv Arbitration Days 2026

Online, Zoom
18 Dec, 2026

The Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) is proud to support Kyiv Arbitration Days: Think Big!, taking place online on 18 December 2026.

This international conference will bring together arbitration professionals for an afternoon of discussion on some of the most pressing issues facing the arbitration community, with a particular focus on defence and security disputes, damages in a war economy, and the role of arbitration in reconstruction projects. The conference will be held online via Zoom and conducted in English.

The programme will explore three key areas:

  • Military Arbitration, examining defence procurement, security disputes, international sanctions and export controls.
  • Damages in a War Economy, including asset valuation, causation, lost opportunities and reconstruction costs.
  • Arbitration for Reconstruction, addressing infrastructure, energy and defence-supply contracts, wartime risks and appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms.

The programme will feature practitioners and experts from across the international arbitration community, including Dr. Erhard Böhm, Markian Malskyy, Olexander Martinenko, Dr. Galina Zukova, Pavlo Byelousov, Margarita Chatzi and Franz Schwarz.

Taking place from 14:00 to 19:05 Kyiv time on 18 December 2026, Kyiv Arbitration Days: Think Big! offers a timely platform to exchange perspectives on how arbitration can respond to the legal and commercial challenges created by war and play a role in future reconstruction.

Registration is required to participate!

We look forward to supporting another important exchange within the international arbitration community.
