Taking place on 18 September 2026 during China Arbitration Week, the China Arbitration Summit Forum: High-Level Dialogue on Maritime and Commercial Arbitration in China will bring together leading figures from the international arbitration community to discuss key developments shaping maritime and commercial dispute resolution.

This year’s edition is particularly significant as it celebrates two major milestones: the 70th anniversary of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Hosted in Beijing by CIETAC, as one of the flagship events of China Arbitration Week, the Summit Forum has become one of the most influential gatherings in international commercial arbitration, attracting arbitration practitioners, institutions, academics, policymakers, and business leaders from around the world.

The programme will focus on the evolving landscape of maritime and commercial arbitration, providing a platform for high-level dialogue, international cooperation, and the exchange of perspectives on the future of dispute resolution in China and beyond.
