Four countries, four perspectives, one conversation.

The Vierländerkonferenz brings together the arbitration communities of Liechtenstein Arbitration Society (LIS, Liechtenstein), Austrian Arbitration Association (Arb | Aut, Austria), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC, Austria), Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA, Switzerland), and German Institution of Arbitration (DIS, Germany) for a day of comparative insights, practical discussion and cross-border exchange.

This year Vierländerkonferenz 2026 comes to Switzerland. We warmly invite you to join us on 4 December 2026 at the Odelya Hotel in Basel for a day of comparative insights, practical discussion and exchange with colleagues from across the arbitration community.

Conference language: German

The programme opens with a keynote by Swiss Federal Supreme Court Judge Christoph Hurni on recent case law relating to challenges of arbitral awards, followed by three panel discussions on:

• Consensual termination of arbitral proceedings
• Selection and challenge of arbitrators
• Security for costs
