Norwegian Arbitration Day 2026

Domus Academica, Gamle Festsal, Oslo
5 Feb, 2026

We are pleased to partner with Norwegian Arbitration Day 2026, taking place on Thursday, 5 February 2026, at the University of Oslo’s Old Festive Hall (Gamle Festsal). Organised by the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, the Oslo Centre for Commercial Law, and the Norwegian Arbitration Association, the event is a key meeting point for arbitration practitioners across the Nordic region and beyond.

The main conference runs from 14:30 to 19:00 and will feature high-level discussion on some of the most topical and challenging issues in arbitration today. This year’s programme explores, among other themes, the judicial approach to challenging arbitral awards, as well as the impact of sanctions and ordre public on arbitration, bringing together leading judges, academics, and practitioners from across the Nordic jurisdictions.

In addition to the main event, a series of separately registered pre- and post-conference events hosted by prominent law firms in Oslo offer further opportunities for focused debate and networking throughout the week.
