Geneva. 31 January + 1 February 2019.
The ASA Annual Conference on "Arbitration and Corruption" will explore how the arbitration community should deal with the challenges associated with corruption in arbitration. Panellists will discuss red flags for identifying suspicious relationships and address the impact of corruption on substantive matters as well as on the arbitral process itself. Finally, the questions of international arbitration’s role in fighting corruption, and whether there is a need for further initiatives by the arbitration community, will be debated.
The ASA Annual Conference will take place at the Hotel President Wilson, in Geneva.
ASA will hold its Gala Dinner the evening before the Conference at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum. Attendees will have the opportunity to privately visit the museum beforehand (between 17:30 and 19:30). The Gala Dinner will include a welcome drinks reception (18:30) and a three course meal dinner with accompanying wine, followed by tea and coffee.
