Сost of Mediation

The fees, costs and expenses of SCAI and the mediator (the "Mediation Costs") are determined pursuant to Section VIII of the Rules and the Schedule of Costs (Appendix B to the Rules) in force on the date the Request is submitted to the Secretariat. 

SCAI Registration Fee(s)

The registration fee amounts to CHF 1000 for each party to the mediation. 

If the Request is submitted jointly by the parties, each party shall pay an equal share of the registration fee. 

If the Request is submitted by one party, this party shall pay the total amount of the registration fee. 

For Simplified Designation Procedures pursuant to Article 5 of the Rules, the registration fee is CHF 1000. If the mediation involves more than two parties, an additional registration fee of CHF 250 per additional party shall be paid.

The registration fee is non-refundable.

All payments must be made in Swiss Francs (CHF) and received net of any banking fees.

The bank advises as follows: When making payments within Europe, please always use the IBAN and BIC to avoid additional third-party charges and to ensure the amount is credited to the beneficiary more quickly and securely. We also recommend using IBAN for all Swiss payment transactions.

 

SCAI administrative costs, certification and authentication fees

SCAI administrative costs, certification and authentication fees are determined pursuant to Articles 16(5), 17(2) and (3), and 23 of the Rules and 2 and 3 of the Schedule of Costs (Appendix B to the Rules) in force on the date the Request is submitted to the Secretariat. 

 

Mediator’s fees

The parties and the mediator are free to agree on the mediator's fees pursuant to Article 24 of the Rules.
